SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) has approved applications for 90,778 qualifying patients (including 527 persons under 18 years of age), since it began accepting applications for the Medical Cannabis Registry Program on September 2, 2014.
Retail sales of medical cannabis for October – $25,183,965.98 including $12,528,100.10 in dry flower sales and $12,655,865.98 in concentrates/infused-products. Licensed medical cannabis dispensaries served 53,358 unique patients, who purchased 996,430 grams of dry cannabis.
