MCPP Update – October 7, 2019
SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) has approved applications for 87,207 qualifying patients (including 505 persons under 18 years of age), since it began accepting applications for the Medical Cannabis Registry Program on September 2, 2014.
Retail sales of medical cannabis for September – $22,573,031.49 including $11,381,575.83 in dry flower sales and $11,191,455.66 in concentrates/infused-products. Licensed medical cannabis dispensaries served 50,834 unique patients, who purchased 973,127 grams of dry cannabis.
